I am thrilled to welcome the participants to the Neuro-BRB 2023, taking place on 15 June 2023 at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia. We expect it to be an exceptional event that will bring together the best of neuroscience from around the world,  in partnership with the International Brain Research Organisation (IBRO) and the Federations of Asian-Oceanian Neuroscience Society (FAONS).

Brain science has developed rapidly over the years and will continue to expand and increase its importance for humanity as a frontier science. Our team has diligently worked to promote and support neuroscience research and education. To breach the research barrier across sub-disciplines of Neuroscience, there will be keynote and invited talks showcasing cutting-edge research in translational medicine, cognition and behaviour, development, disorders of the nervous system, neurotechnology, brain-gut axis, neuroinflammation and neuroethics.

The theme of the event is “Connect, Collaborate, Create”, and there are many ways for us to embrace this theme. At this neuroscience venture, the enhancement of neuroscience can derive through academic deliberations by way of spreading lectures, engaging in meaningful interactions, exchange of scientific information and fostering research collaborations.

We are also very excited to highlight the side events of Neuro-BRB 2023, including the Human Anatomy Museum Tour, Neuro-cuisine, AR World of Brain Dissection, and exploring optimal nutrition to support brain development. We genuinely believe that the delegates will enjoy the maximum at this informative exposition.

Neuro-BRB 2023 is a platter full of rich experience and knowledge.  I look forward to seeing you in Serdang, Malaysia, and celebrating this momentous period of knowledge and discovery in neuroscience.
