27/01/2016 - New articles accepted in Genomics and Data in Brief

Dr Michael Ling has two articles accepted in the Genomics and Data in Brief journals. The article accepted in Genomics entitled “Derivation of an endogenous small RNA from double-stranded Sox4 sense and natural antisense transcripts in the mouse brain” is accessible by clicking here. The supplementary data of the article was accepted in Data in Brief journal with a title “In depth analysis of the Sox4 gene locus that consists of sense and antisense transcripts”.

27/12/2015 - IBRO-APRC Associate School in Sri Lanka

Drs. Pike-See Cheah and Michael KH Ling were both invited to deliver talks during a movement disorders symposium organised in conjunction with the IBRO-APRC Associate School of Neuroscience at University of Sri Jeyawardenepura, Sri Lanka. The school was organised from 14-21 December 2015.

01/12/2015 - IBRO Global Advocacy Grant

Dr. Michael KH Ling was granted the competitive IBRO Global Advocacy Grant amounting to Euro5,000 to conduct seminars/workshops related to neuroscience advocacy in Malaysia.

17/11/2015 - Review article accepted in Neural Plasticity!

Han-Chung Lee’s review article was accepted for publication on 17th November 2015 in Neural Plasticity journal. The manuscript entitled “Potential role of JAK-STAT signaling pathway in the neurogenic-to-gliogenic shift in Down syndrome brain” is co-authored by Ms Kai-Leng Tan. Dr. Pike-See Cheah and Dr. Michael KH Ling are joint senior authors of the article.
